Application of the electromagnetic spectrum to the growth of the species Phaseolus vulgaris (Beans)
Abstract
The implementation of new cultivation and plant germination and growth techniques has been continually influenced by the changes that are reflected, by being able to choose the characteristics to be promoted in the vegetative species to be treated. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to indicate the effect of the electromagnetic spectrum on the physiological quality of bean (Phaseolus Vulgaris) seed. For this, a structural design was carried out where 4 filters of different colors (green, blue, red and transparent) were installed, with which it was intended to obtain data on (root growth, stemstretching, flowering, leaf color, and modifications in the type of substrate used). Among the results obtained, it is found that the green filter had a greater influence on (stem stretching), the blue filter on (root growth) and the red filter on (stem growth, flowering, and production. chlorophyll), compared to the clear filter. As a conclusion, it was determined that a longer period of time is required to see greater changes in the growth and development of bean plants, despite the fact that the Phaseolus Vulgaris seed is a fast-growing seed. Therefore, it was established that for greater efficiency photoreceptors should be implemented in the vegetative phase.Downloads
