State management of poverty in latin america: the case of Mexico

Abstract

In a crisis the current economic system, this paper outlines the actions that the Mexican government implemented with respect to poverty. To do this, first explains the origins of poverty in the social sciences; subsequently refers to the context in entering this scourge, and thirdly, it drives the behavior of the management of the State to continue managing poverty. Then he addresses the legislation and the features of the programs to address this problem. Finally, we show the expressions of the production and reproduction of poverty and some conclusions. Finally, we present some elements of poverty in Latin American countries. In this project progress is resumed the Mexican case. It owes review of other countries.
