Fixing price of rural accommodation in the Department of Quindío

Abstract

Price fixing has turned into a meaningful topic to research, because rural accommodation managers fix their service price in absence of solid basis on internal and external factors provided by dynamics of enterprise economic environment, which lead to fix accommodation price with accounting and economic foundations, and most of the time, price fixing is made taking into account competence as a reference. Therefore, the study led to identify internal and external factors through a matrix, as well as identification of the main services and complementary provided by rural accommodation, according to regulations for rural accommodation of the state of Quindio; the model for price fixing of rural accommodation was established, under a simple random sampling, using a descriptive study and a practical methodology.  Likewise, a qualitative method and observation was applied, in order to establish price fixing and its cost.
