Abstract

When thinking about selling a business, merge, do a split or just determine its value on a given date for managers position against economic sector that is shared, we have used different methods and tools, which in most cases are not appropriate for the intended purpose. This document is a description of the methodologies used to value a company, showing the advantages and disadvantages of each, to guide users in determining the value closest to the reality, that allows them to obtain their goals.
