About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The Revista Inciso, published jointly by the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences and the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences of the Universidad La Gran Colombia, is an academic publication aimed at the dissemination of original articles resulting from scientific research developed by the national and international academic community.

The journal specializes in the dissemination of knowledge in the fields of law, socio-legal studies, political sciences, and economic and management sciences, promoting interdisciplinary dialogue between these areas of knowledge. In particular, it seeks to contribute to the understanding of the legal, political, economic, and organizational phenomena that influence the institutional, social, and productive development of contemporary societies.

In this regard, the journal publishes research results, reflection articles, and theoretical reviews that address issues related to governance, economic regulation, public policy, economic development, business, institutions, markets, justice, and social transformation, using analytical, comparative, and interdisciplinary approaches.

Revista Inciso seeks to establish itself as a space for academic discussion that fosters high-quality scientific production and the circulation of knowledge among researchers, teachers, and students, contributing to the strengthening of applied social sciences at both national and international levels.

Target Audience

Revista Inciso is aimed at the academic and scientific community, particularly professors, researchers, postgraduate students, and professionals whose work relates to the generation, analysis, and appropriation of knowledge in the fields of law, political sciences, socio-legal studies, and economic and management sciences.

Furthermore, the journal is projected as a space for consultation and reflection for academics, policymakers, institutional analysts, and professionals interested in understanding contemporary legal, political, economic, and organizational processes.

Mission

The mission of Revista Inciso is to serve as a vehicle for the dissemination of scientific knowledge among the academic, scientific, and professional communities at national and international levels, through the publication of original articles of high scientific and reflective quality, resulting from completed research in the fields of law, socio-legal studies, political sciences, and economic and management sciences.

The journal promotes the dissemination of research that contributes to the critical analysis of legal, political, and economic phenomena, as well as the strengthening of institutions, organizations, and social development.

To this end, the publication is governed by editorial, scientific, ethical, visibility, and permanence criteria, in accordance with the standards established by Publindex and international bibliographic databases and indexes, with the purpose of guaranteeing the quality, impact, and circulation of the knowledge produced.
