Reflections on subjectivity surged in adolescent individuals in adoptability condition

Abstract

This article is a motivation surged from the Master of Education: Human Development, provided by San Buenaventura University – Cali, and La Gran Colombia University Armenia office, in order to reflect on subjectivity surged in adolescent individuals in adoptability condition.Being important to stress that adoptability condition, in most of the cases, surges on a vulnerable population of boys, girls, and adolescent individuals, who, because of social problems, are withdrawn from their biological home and placed either at institutions or substitute families in order to restablish their rights, and, who for this case, could not be adopted to join a family under a civil parental tie “as named by the Law†Article 42 to 44 of the Colombian Political Constitution, Article 61 Law 1098, 2006.However, notwithstanding being true that the Law guarantees protection of their personal and physical integrity, it is also true that subjectivity, that is, all internal processes allowing human development and subject-individual configuration, are independent and solitarily assumed, finding that it is possible for some of them to reach substitute homes that promote such subjectivations, but other should survive their emotional, moral and social problem on autonomous basis. The purpose of this reflection on subjectivation process of adolescent individuals in adoptability condition is not to judge or evaluate the outcome of such process, but highlight its importance because of dealing with individuals, who, taking into account their age and condition, deserve special attention by the State, the family and the society.
