The penal responsibility for adolescents : social approach of sanctions in the department of Risaralda

Abstract

This article is a report of Colciencia investigation project, called: young population of Risaralda’s Department. Criminality Vs prevention and sanction; executed during the period of July 2014 to July 2015. The aims of the investigation were to do a comparative study among the sanctions imposed on the teeenagers that are in conflict with the penal law in Pereira’s judicial district, between the 2008 and 2013 years, and applying days of training according to the prevention program, Risaralda: a territory of crime’s prevention. The research’s development was of the juridical partner type with a mixed approach. There were used three techniques for the research; documentary review, a survey and a semi structured interview. It was possible to obtain like proved the estimation of 7.845 teenagers linked to the penal young system between 2008 and 2013 years, of which 84.7% was men and 15.3% women. Equally, they present the diagnosis results made in enrolled teen in the school population, on the knowledge of prevention measures, of the penal infractions committed by teenagers
