Scientific and technological research article: Document that presents in detail the results of finished research projects. The generally used structure contains four important parts: Introduction, methodology, results and conclusions.
Articles of reflection: Document presenting the results of a finished research from the author´s analytical, interpretative, or critical perspective in regard to a specific subject using original bibliographic sources.

Review article: Document presented as a result of a finished research where either published or unreleased research results are analyzed, systematized or integrated on a specific scientific or technological field with the purpose of reporting advances and tendencies for development. It is characterized by presenting a careful bibliographic revision; at least 50 references.

The purpose is to inform the reader about the characteristics and contribution of the work in reference, therefore it assess to highlight virtues or to prevent deficiencies. Moreover it interprets, suggests backgrounds and clarifies the author’s perspective. The magazine will prioritize for its publication, articles type 1, 2 and 3 (Articles as a result of research) as part of its indexing policy. Nevertheless other types of articles will be welcomed.

STRUCTURE FOR THE SUBMISSION OF ARTICLES

Title: Title must be short (15 words maximum), specific, clear and it must make reference to the work of study or research findings.
Marginal note: The name of the project, name of the research group where the project emerged, must be input as a footnote quote of the title as well as the name of the educative institution supporting the project.
Title in english: Specify the name of the article in English to make the work visible allowing its incorporation in international bibliographic indexes and databases.

Author: The article´s author can be individual or corporate. In the second case, it´s preferable for authors to be displayed according to the importance of their contribution to the manuscript. The totality of the names must be footnote including the following information in reference to each author: Academic titles, current place of work, job position, research group they belong to, institutional e- mail address, institutional mailing address, city, Region, Country.
Abstract: Summary must be a synthesis of the whole article, (between 250 and 300 words) where objectives, methodology, important findings and conclusions are described. This part must be done in an analytical and not a descriptive way.

Key words: Authors must define 5 key words to help the article cross indexing. The words describe must describe the document´s content and must be written in alphabetical order. These descriptors should be as standardized as possible to guarantee the search in bibliographic databases.

Introduction: The introduction must be brief (laconic), in a way that serves to provide readers sufficient background.  The length of the introduction must not exceed1/4 of the whole article.Introduction must clarify the following aspects: In a continuous text without subtitles:
• Nature and extent of the problem. What´s the importance of the study or research matter? What´s the relation with other studies or researches about the same subject? What limits were necessary to enforce in the research work?•Objectives of study: Specifically, what important information was expected to be obtained?

• Procedures used: Must be described in general terms, not in material details or methods that will be detailed later, the place where research was made and the time spent.

• Don´t break in the subject unexpectedly, present previous records in a convincing way.
Materials and methods: The validity of scientific research is founded in the certainty of the procedures used in the research and the accuracy and precision of observations made, therefore it´s indispensable to make a concise and complete description of materials and methods used in the research. The materials and methods segment is organized in 5 areas.

• Design: The type of research is described (Descriptive, explicative. or evaluative) or the experiment design (random, controlled, cases and controls, clinic essay, or prospective etc.)

• Population: It describes the universe, the framework, and how the selection was made.

• Environment: Indicates where the study has been made (hospital, neighborhood, commune, school)

• Interventions: Description of techniques, treatments, measurements, units, pilot test, machinery and technology.

• Statistical analysis: It highlights how statistic methods were used and how data has been analyzed.
The materials and methods section must be sufficiently detailed as per any other author can reply the study and verify the results independently.
Results: The table of content must include chapters and sub chapters numbered with Arabic numerals. It includes the tables and images which express in a clear way the results of the study made by the researcher.
Results must fulfill two functions:
• To express the results of described experiments in regard to materials and methods.

• To present the evidence supporting the results, either in images, tables or verbatim.
The first paragraph of the text must be used to summarize in a concise, clear direct sentence the main findings of the study. This segment must be written using verbs in past tense.
Discussion of the results: This segment is the core of the manuscript. Some suggestions may help its development:
• Begin the discussion with the answer to the introductory question, immediately followed by the supportive evidence for the results.

• Write this segment in present tense, (“This data indicates that”…) though the findings of the research work are considered scientific evidence.

• Bring to light the anomalous results instead of hiding them and make brief comments giving a coherent explanation or simply saying that this is what was found, though they are not going to be explained at the moment.

• Speculate and theorize with logic imagination. This can revive the readers ‘interest.• Include recommendations you think might be appropriate.

• Upon all, avoid making conclusion beyond the results allow, as much as those conclusions are less spectacular than expected or desired.
Conclusions: Conclusions are mandatory and must be clear. They must express the final balance of the research and application of knowledge. The dividing line between the discussion of results and conclusions is subtle. Some authors prefer to treat simultaneously “discussion and conclusions” although they are two different and separate topics. The discussion unfolds the bridge between results and conclusions.

Bibliographic quotes: They must be input between inverted commas, number 11 letters at the interior of the text if not exceed  40 words, in which case they must be out of the text, 1,27 left sangria, letter # 10 as it is presented in the following examples subtracted from the article “ A Cultural View” by Roberto Gil Montoya (Sophia 2012).

Quotes at the interior of the text (less than 40 words)
If a word with no memory exits, neither can memory without a glance. It allows its reading, verification and later its writing. The act of writing, according to Bolleme, becomes tension “because writing implies to measure oneself on facing an established lingo with the purpose of taking a place with own words” (Bolleme, 1990:206).

Quotes out of the text (more than 40 words)
Lewis understands his anthropologist work as that one of rapporteur and study (pretty close to the journalistic exercise) what he calls anthropology of poverty. Therefore he has cohabited with the object of study families and has kept the tone of his language and has respected their visions of the world.
Poverty becomes the dynamic factor affecting the participation in the sphere of national culture creating a subculture itself. One can talk about the culture of poverty though it holds its own modalities and distinctive social and psychological consequences for its members. It seems to me that poverty culture exceeds the limits of the regional, rural and urban, even the national. (Lewis, 1972: 16-17)
