Abstract
 This research outlines as a fundamental objective, to guide the students´ academic learning training out of the Architecture and Agro industrial faculties, as well as to the architects' y/o assessors on the ruling and accreditation of laboratories in Colombia regarding academic learning strategies for the comprehension and design of new teaching laboratories in Colombia. To the light of the normative ruling the subject, and from a purposive approach relevant, aspects were compiled and tabbed through formats allowing to approach the theme of a lab design in a more practical way without affecting the design final result. The results analysis framed by the academic background nationwide, revealed some weaknesses on the comprehension and fulfillment of the current normative ruling the design of lab spaces in Colombia. This problematic stated the necessity of thinking on new approaches allowing significant changes supported on experiences from the architectonic design linked to academic learning processes. Therefore, a methodological and educative way to engage the design of academic labs in Colombia was proposed through several lines of action: 1. Updating of rules for laboratory design. 2. Academic orientation for the design and implementation of Functional Design Standards for classroom projects, departing from strategies to improve the quality of academic learning. A methodological guide for the approximation of a lab design was defined as a reference to approach the subject in class supported by the implementation of a series of formats which contextualize the designer in order to face this type of projects, optimizing time and resources for the processing of information; in the same way it was possible to transfer this guide to the design of laboratories at Universidad la Gran Colombia Armenia UGCA. ÂDownloads
