Complementary Author Guidelines

To ensure scientific quality and editorial transparency, authors must comply with the following additional technical requirements:

1. Academic Content Structure

  • Methodology: Must be detailed enough to allow replicability. Include: research design, population/sample, instruments, procedures, and statistical analysis.
  • Results: Must be written in past tense. Use tables and figures only to illustrate findings that text alone cannot explain.
  • Discussion: Must be written in present tense. Findings must be contrasted with previous literature, avoiding speculations not supported by data.

2. Re-publication Policy (Editorial Endogamy)

To maintain author diversity, a researcher may only publish a new article in Sophia after two consecutive issues have passed since their last publication.
