Abstract
Reflection on essential aspects of the pedagogical act, evaluation and curriculum in higher education is essential for its continuous improvement. The purpose of this study focuses on investigating the implementation of learning outcomes in higher education institutions. To achieve this, a deep bibliometric analysis was carried out that covered national and international research carried out between 2011 and 2022. The exploration was carried out in recognized databases, such as SciELO, ScienceDirect, Dialnet, as well as in doctoral theses and master's degree, and guidance documents available on websites. The results of this review provided an overview of the research horizon surrounding the implementation of learning outcomes. The origin of the publications, the main sources of information, the methodologies used for the study and the scope of the findings were analyzed. The review documents a limited amount of research both nationally and internationally in the field of learning outcomes. This study accentuates the need for greater attention to research on learning outcomes in higher education, which can significantly contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning in these institutions.Downloads
