Theoretical-epistemological construction of a nursing program from the execution of a constructive reflective workshop
Abstract
Abstract: The epistemological foundations in the academic disciplines constitute the roadmap for the construction and support of the curriculum, so these bases must be delineated and defined from the theoretical and philosophical components. In the nursing discipline these are represented in the components of the holarchy of nursing knowledge. Specifically, the epistemological support of the nursing program of the University of Sucre-Colombia is presented. Objective: To expose theoretically and epistemologically the bases of a nursing program from the critical-reflective-constructive perspectives based on the body of nursing knowledge. Methodology: Reflective-Constructive Workshop with a systemic approach of training by competencies and achievements in learning outcomes carried out with experts, teachers, graduates and students. Results: Consolidation of the theoretical-epistemological component Conclusions: The constructive reflective workshops constitute a facilitating methodology for the dialogue of interdisciplinary knowledge that allows the theoretical-epistemological foundation according to the present and future needs of nursing education. In this way, the nursing program under study is based on current visions, models and theories that support, shape the practice and are susceptible to new linkages. Keywords: nursing care, curriculum, epistemology, nurse educator's practice.Downloads
