About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Sophia Journal, published by Universidad La Gran Colombia (Armenia branch), is a scientific publication dedicated to the dissemination of original and unpublished articles in the field of Education. Our goal is to serve as a diffusion platform for the national and international academic community, adhering to the quality and visibility standards set by Publindex and international bibliographic indexes.

Peer Review Process 

We employ a double-blind peer review system. Manuscripts are evaluated by external experts. In the event of a disagreement between two reviewers, a third opinion will be requested to reach a final editorial decision. The estimated time for the initial verdict is one month.

Open Access Policy

Sophia is a non-profit publication that does not charge article processing charges (APCs). Content is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA) license, ensuring free and permanent access to all research without financial or technical barriers.
