The student vision on institutional evaluation at ICEUABJO

Institutional evaluation has been an educational and practical policy that has been implemented in higher education institutions in Mexico. The references, guidelines, techniques and procedures that are developed are determined by bodies and agents external to the educational institutions themselves, even when at the beginning of their methodology, a self-assessment is proposed that allows the people who make up them to locate which aspects are considered optimal and which are subject to improvement. In that sense, those who benefit from these evaluative processes are sometimes not widely considered. Given this, this article gives an account of the visions that students of the Degree in Education Sciences at the Autonomous University “Benito Juárez” of Oaxaca, in Mexico, have regarding the institutional evaluation that is implemented and has been implemented, in the institution itself.References
