This article answers the question: What are the readings that critics have made of the poetic work of the writer from Calarcá Baudilio Montoya? To answer it, we compiled a corpus of 250 texts, from which we selected 48. The selection criteria focused on disclosed writings in different media on physical or digital support (magazines, books, newspapers), research products and texts in which it was evident an interpretive reading of the Baudilio Montoya’`s aesthetic. In this way, we achieved the purpose of recognizing, from critical voices, the literary diversity of Baudilio Montoya’´s work. The most outstanding results are collected, on the one hand, into a complete critical radiography of his work and, on the other, into a published book that compiles the chosen corpus and integrates the blue collection (“Essay”) of the Autores Quindianos Library: Lecturas críticas de la obra de Baudilio Montoya (Zambrano and Sarmiento, 2011b).
